Francesca and Alexander
Being able to have a wedding in a location with the sea as a backdrop is the dream of many couples. Everything is made more beautiful by the striking sunset, the wind brushing the hair and the bubbles refreshing the palate. Today I want to tell you how I, together with my wedding couple, realized the magnificent wedding of Francesca and Alessandro that took place in Villa Parisi on the rocks of Castiglioncello, Tuscany.
The mood
The common thread of the wedding, were watercolor shades of light blue. In fact, in every detail, from the welcome sign placed at the entrance of the villa, to the menus placed inside the napkins, the guest could trace the consistent identity of each element. Let’s look more specifically at the details. The wedding ring pillow was embellished with hand-embroidered initials in the shade chosen for the event. The fans set up on the chairs during the civil ceremony were customized with the wedding graphics.
The tableau was designed and made following the style of the event. We created escort cards in palettes with the guest’s name and their intended table on them. At the base of the baskets with flip-flops customized with the words “dancing shoes.”
I like to involve my brides, advising them to reserve accouterments for their guests that can somehow make them feel like the center of attention. We know very well for us women how terrible it is to be in heels all day especially in summer. So flip-flops can be a viable alternative to be able to allow your guests to be able to go wild, especially during the wedding party.
The Magic Touch
One of the details I am particularly proud of are the place markers made by a very talented calligrapher from California. Each guest had his or her name calligraphed on a slice of Agate stone, in shades of the sea. We did not choose this stone at random in fact this symbolizes eternal love and is also said to strengthen the bond of a couple. We decided to present guests with these precious stones instead of using an ordinary wedding favor.
The table setting
The table centerpiece was composed of floral, floating, decomposed, and soft decorations. Thanks to the sky-blue delphinium, we gave a dynamism to the room, with touches of sky-blue here and there. Resting, like pastel-blue stem candles, on crystal bowls. Of proposed we chose materials such as crystal, because due to its transparency it allowed us to achieve a more elegant and sophisticated result.
The children’s table
This wedding was outstanding in all aspects, and do you know why? 36 children were in attendance, yes you read that correctly 36. A table designed especially for them awaited them. Each child had a light blue lunch box with candy, colors and more inside. A juice box with one’s name on it, and a lollipop resting on a napkin. Making everything even more beautiful were the fluttering balloons attached to their little surprise boxes. The children were delighted.
